ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clark County Office of Communications & Strategy is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Management Analyst II (Internal Communications & Marketing) position. In this role, you’ll help shape the employee experience for more than 10,000 employees by delivering clear, engaging, and impactful internal communications that inform, connect, and inspire. This role is best suited for candidates who are equally comfortable writing, designing, producing video content, and leading the planning and execution of Countywide engagement events and programs.

NOTE: Candidates selected to participate in the interview process will be required to submit a digital portfolio prior to interview. Digital portfolio will need to contain samples of print collateral or graphic design samples, video and writing samples that were created by the applicant. Additionally candidates will also be required to participate in a writing assessment at time of interview.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

Management Analyst I - Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration or a related field. Full-time administrative experience in a field related to the work may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two (2) years. An appropriate advanced degree is desirable.

Management Analyst II - In addition to the above: Minimum of one (1) year of full-time professional experience in performing administrative, budgetary, operational or similar analyses and studies. Experience in a public agency setting is desirable.

Working Conditions: Attend meetings outside of normal working hours.

Licensing and Certification: Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C Driver's License at time of appointment.

Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted.

Citizenship: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Please note, Clark County does not provide H1B visa sponsorships or transfers for any employment positions.

Pre-Employment Drug Testing: Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.
