Division Manager, Airport Maintenance Senior

Purpose:

Under limited direction, this position directs, plans, and coordinates the work activities of multiple maintenance-related functional areas of the Department of Aviation.

This position provides senior-level leadership for the unified Asset Management, Procurement, and Supply Chain Reliability model for AUS's Large Hub operations. Serving as the central authority for integrating asset reliability, strategic procurement, and materials management, the role ensures end-to-end accountability for asset lifecycle performance. Primary duties include leading Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) modernization for predictive maintenance, overseeing high-value aviation procurement compliant with federal standards, and evolving inventory programs to ensure operational resilience for mission-critical infrastructure.

1.Asset Management Frameworks: Experience applying ISO 55000 or equivalent standards to complex, 24/7 airport infrastructure.
2.Reliability Assessment: Expertise in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to optimize system uptime.
3.EAM/CMMS Mastery: Proficiency in IBM Maximo or similar systems to drive data-informed replacement and predictive maintenance strategies.
4.Aviation Procurement Compliance: Knowledge of FAA Grant Assurances and regulatory requirements for specialized airport technical systems.
5.Strategic Contract Governance: Skill in developing KPIs and SLAs for large-scale professional service and construction contracts.
6.Supply Chain Resilience: Experience evolving warehouse operations into a strategic Materials Management program focused on supply chain stability.
7.Inventory Optimization: Mastery of demand planning and lifecycle management aligned with predictive maintenance and escalating operational needs.
8.Technological Integration: Familiarity with incorporating tools like IoT sensors, GIS, or BIM into asset tracking and infrastructure workflows.
9.Advanced Credentials: Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CMRP, CPSM), or a Master’s Degree in a related field.
