The Administrative Services Department is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional ready to support enterprise and governmental accounting operations during the City’s transition to SAP S/4HANA!

At City of Palo Alto, we’re committed to serving the public with integrity, innovation, and impact. We’re looking for a dedicated and collaborative Management Specialist- Enterprise Accounting to support the Accounting Division with SAP S/4HANA transition activities, capital asset accounting processes, and year-end financial close activities for governmental and enterprise funds.

This position will play a key role in supporting SAP S/4HANA testing and implementation activities, capital asset accounting processes, and year-end close support as the division continues to modernize accounting operations and transition to new financial systems.

Department

The Administrative Services Department (ASD) provides analytical, organizational, and administrative support for a wide variety of projects throughout the organization. The Department prides itself on a high-level of customer service to decision-makers, the public, employees, and other departments in the City. ASD records, monitors, and protects the City’s assets through essential financial management, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. ASD’s divisions include Accounting, the Office of Management and Budget, Purchasing, Treasury, Real Estate, Revenue Collections, Stores and Administration.
