Purpose:

Under general direction, this position is responsible for service coordination, including training, resources, and outreach related to community programs.

About the position:

The functional requirements for this position are to provide street and community outreach. Have the ability to gain knowledge on local community resources and connect the clients. Refer clients to shelter and local housing resources. Transport clients to scheduled appointments and shelter/housing intakes. Work to build rapport with community members and other outreach teams. Provide limited and light touch case management. Gain the ability to provide housing assessments. Will need to be able to work well with

individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experience, including community leaders, residents, service providers, local officials, and elected representatives.

Salary Range: $60,030.00 to $ 74,140.00 annually

Location : 505 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX 78704

Hours : Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

Hours may vary depending on departmental needs and initiatives. Some evening, weekend and holiday work may be required.
