Full-time position available with Health Department, Behavioral Health & Injury Prevention Division Pay Range: $18.98-$29.98 per hour
Work Location: 2400 Troost Ave
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

What you'll do
- Monitor and respond to division email and phone communications to ensure timely, professional support for internal teams and the public.
- Schedule meetings, prepare and distribute agendas and meeting minutes, and manage reservations for meeting and conference spaces to keep operations organized and on track.
- Purchase office supplies, organize storage spaces, and maintain files and records of a highly confidential nature, including personnel, budget, and procedural documents.
- Compile data and assist with administrative, fiscal, and budgetary analysis, including expenditure tracking, purchasing requisitions, and insurance claims.
- Prepare drafts of operating orders, instructions, studies, special reports, and assist with public and administrative reports and program manuals.
- Support division operations by assisting with new programs, systems, procedures, community events, and making recommendations to improve administrative efficiency.

REQUIRES - High school graduation and 3 years of increasingly responsible secretarial and/or clerical experience; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience.

If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
