Description

Employees independently perform emergency management logistics, hazardous materials support, warehouse operations, and operational readiness duties in support of the Charleston County Emergency Management Department. Work involves applying professional judgment and technical knowledge to support preparedness, response, recovery, and continuity operations through the calibration, maintenance, and operational readiness of specialized detection equipment and disaster response supplies and assets. Employees operate with general supervision from a Senior Emergency Manager, Deputy Director, and Director and may provide guidance to junior staff, interns, volunteers, and partner agencies during training, exercises, and emergency operations.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $53,435 - $69,971 (Estimated Annual Salary Dependent on Qualifications)
