ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clark County Henderson Justice Court Department is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Court Administrator position. This position will help drive continuous improvement in service delivery and technology. The Court Administrator position is one of high responsibility and utmost confidentiality; oversees the administration, operations, personnel, financial functions and regulatory compliance of the Henderson Justice Court. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining procedures and programs that ensure efficient court operations, compliance with state and local laws and delivery of high-quality public service. The ideal candidate must have exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

This examination will establish an Open Competitive Eligibility list to fill current and/or future vacancies that may occur within the next six (6) months or may be extended as needed by Human Resources.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of full-time administrative or managerial support, two (2) of which have been in a legal or court related setting and one (1) of which was in a lead or supervisory capacity. Equivalent combination of formal education and appropriate related experience may be considered.

Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation. Periodically after employment background investigations may be conducted.

Pre-Employment Drug Testing: Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
