Summary

Security Officer

Prevent theft and fraud in the area of the Resort, and help ensure safe and orderly environment for guests and employees. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests.

Responsibilities
  • Provide uniform foot patrol on company property and grounds
  • Provide safety protection of main resort property, employees, guests
  • Assist Supervisor, if needed, as a liaison between local authorities and Loon Mountain
  • Assist in the investigations of accidents, injuries and suspected crimes
  • Complete reports, logs and other required written documents
  • Security activities, traffic control, aid to the public as required (i.e. lost keys, dead batteries, etc.)
  • Operate vehicles including but not limited to cars and truck
  • Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the Resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions
  • Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor
  • Effectively communicate via radio
Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
