The City Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall administrative activities of the City as well as advising and implementing the City Council’s policies and goals. The City of Pacific Grove is seeking a calm, level-headed, and visionary leader to serve as its next City Manager. The salary for the previous City Manager was $266,468; the salary for the incoming City Manager is negotiable and based on qualifications and experience. Additionally, a 3% Management Incentive will be provided (3% x base salary). The City also offers an attractive benefits package.
