Employee Job Description Associate Attorney - Mass Tort Litigation Salary: $65,000-$80,000 About the Opportunity The Gori Law Firm is seeking an Associate Attorney - Mass Tort Litigation to join our growing Mass Tort Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a career in plaintiff litigation involving dangerous products, defective medical devices, and multidistrict litigation (MDL). Working alongside experienced litigators, you'll gain hands-on experience managing discovery, drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, communicating with clients, and appearing in court while helping injured individuals pursue justice. What You'll Do
- Assist with national multidistrict litigation (MDL) cases
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and legal correspondence
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare and manage discovery
- Maintain communication with clients and opposing counsel
- Coordinate litigation strategy with attorneys and support staff
- Supervise work delegated to paralegals and legal assistants
- Attend hearings and court appearances as necessary
- Manage a high-volume plaintiff litigation caseload
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state
- Missouri or Illinois Bar preferred
- 1-3 years of litigation or personal injury experience
- Experience with discovery and motion practice preferred
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong organizational and case management abilities
- Ability to work in a collaborative litigation environment
