IF YOU ARE NOT A CURRENT COURT SYSTEM EMPLOYEE, PLEASE STOP NOW.The Criminal & Traffic Division of the Anchorage Trial Court is accepting applications for a Court Case Manager 2 (SR 12) to review documents and determine compliance with applicable court rules, statutes, and local procedures. The following are currently assigned duties.Personnel rules will be applied to determine step placement for the successful internal candidate.This position performs advanced case management and clerical functions in support of Criminal and Traffic Court operations. Responsibilities include scheduling court proceedings; processing criminal and traffic case filings, motions, judicial orders, warrants, judgments, dismissals, appellate actions, probation matters, and grand jury documents; maintaining accurate electronic and physical case records; and ensuring compliance with court rules, procedures, and statutory requirements. The position coordinates with judicial officers, attorneys, law enforcement agencies, correctional facilities, and other courts to facilitate case processing and timely distribution of court documents.Additional duties include conducting financial eligibility interviews for court-appointed counsel, assisting with representation hearings, responding to public and agency inquiries, reviewing case files for accuracy, processing search warrants and judgment corrections, providing cross-training and backup support for other case management staff, and performing other duties as assigned to meet the operational needs of the Criminal and Traffic Division. The position may require occasional travel, flexible scheduling, including weekend and holiday rotations, and the ability to adapt to changing court priorities and procedures.WORK SCHEDULE Full-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The regular hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
