Summary
Logistics Coordinator We need a self-starting and glass half-full team member to manage our logistics coordination at our Columbus, OH Branch. Along with dispatching the drivers, you will also be assisting with the customer service activity. This role will provide you with the opportunity to continually interact with many different people including customers, vendors and coworkers. Overtime each week.Bonus paid monthly when earnedMedical, Dental and Vision Insurances401(k) Retirement Plan with $1 for $1 match up to 6%Paid time off and paid holidaysTuition assistanceBranch and company events throughout the yearGrowth opportunity and be part of an incredible teamWhat you'll do:Facilitate the delivery and pick up of equipmentFollow DOT regulationsHandle constant changes to the schedule to meet the customers' needsStay in constant communication with the team of drivers.Manage equipment transfers between the branches when neededWork with sales and other departments to best serve our customers and provide effective solutionsAssist in answering the phonesOther stuff that may or may not be within the normal scope of this roleRequirements:Optimistic, outgoing attitude and you must like to have funExperience hauling equipment or Class A preferredKnowledge of DOT requirements preferredMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle change wellExperience in equipment rental or similar industry preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentCustomer service skills are a mustGreat communication skills, both written and oralDetail oriented and organizedTechnologically proficient and comfortable using a computer and Microsoft Office productsMust be able to sit/stand for long periods of timeMust be able to start and operate equipment for testing and demonstrationMust be able to lift 75+ lbs. with assistanceMust be able to read and write English proficientlyMust be able to be exposed to dirt, grease, oils, loud noise and other elements common with construction and industrial workplacesValid Driver's License and acceptable driving recordMust be authorized to work in the United StatesThis is not meant to be all inclusive, but rather provide the framework for the role.
