Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Hospital Access
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Seneca, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour
Job Schedule: This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions and supporting site access procedures as assigned.
- Document observations, incidents, and responses accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
