Summary

Physical Security & Technology Specialist

This position is contingent upon contract award. Position Summary: Upon award, the Physical Security & Technology Specialist will conduct comprehensive facility inspections and technology assessments, including unannounced "Red Cell" probes, to validate existing security systems and identify vulnerabilities. This specialist will apply adversarial thinking and technical expertise to test security measures under realistic conditions, providing evidence-based recommendations for improvements that strengthen the protective posture of assessed facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent will conduct facility inspections, including unannounced probes and Red Cell assessments, to test security effectiveness under realistic threat scenarios
  • The incumbent will perform technology assessments and security system validation to ensure electronic security measures function as intended
  • The incumbent will develop physical security recommendations based on assessment findings to address identified vulnerabilities and enhance protective capabilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Expertise in physical security engineering, electronic security systems, access control technologies, and CCTV surveillance systems
  • Experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) operations and monitoring capabilities
  • Knowledge of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) principles and their application to facility security
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct covert assessments and penetration testing of physical security measures
