Summary
My client is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Southern Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction leader who enjoys leading teams, driving project execution, and growing into a future General Superintendent position. Client Details Our client is a well-established multifamily general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering both ground-up and renovation projects throughout the Southeast. Backed by a consistent development pipeline, they offer long-term stability, a collaborative culture, and outstanding opportunities for career growth. Description Lead daily onsite construction operations for multifamily projects. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules. Oversee quality control, safety compliance, and project execution from start to finish. Develop and maintain short-term and long-term construction schedules. Conduct regular site walks and proactively resolve field issues. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and leadership. Foster a positive, productive jobsite culture while mentoring field staff. Profile 4+ years of multifamily construction experience. Proven experience with ground-up multifamily projects. Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing. Ability to lead teams and manage multiple subcontractors effectively. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Willingness to travel throughout NC, SC, and Southern VA as project needs dictate. Desire to grow into a General Superintendent role over time. Experience on projects ranging from approximately 50-250 units is highly preferred. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $140,000 annually.
