Baggage Storage Associate Smarte Carte Inc. is looking for a Baggage Storage Associate for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. This is a part-time position with hourly pay ranging from $21 to $22. Weekly hours may vary but can be up to 30 hours a week. Smarte Carte is focused on being environmentally responsible by owning/operating recyclable equipment and reducing our carbon footprint.The Baggage Storage Associate is expected to provide superior customer service, while promoting Smarte Carte Baggage Storage and Services to travelers.Key responsibilities include:Deliver premier customer serviceGreet and assist inbound travelers and encourage the use of our services to maximize their travel experienceFollow established process for tagging and tracking customer property; Baggage Storage Standard Operations Procedure.Communicate Baggage Storage requirements to customersProcess cash and credit card payments using POS registerProvide information & respond to inquiries about airport facilities, including but not limited to, baggage carousel informationMaintain a clean and organized work areaWear company prescribed uniform, maintain a neat and well-groomed appearanceOther duties as assignedSkills required include:Passionate approach to customer, able to handle client needs and concernsProactive approach in applying sales practicesPositive attitude, strong work ethicCultural awarenessAbility to work in a hectic, fast paced environment while maintaining a calm, positive, efficient, and comforting dispositionAbility to work independentlyQualifications include:Aptitude to learn new applications as neededAirport and/or Airline hospitality service experience a plusExcellent verbal communication skillsPhysical requirements include:Must be able to push/pull and lift 70lbsMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of timeCertifications/licenses include:Ability to get airport badge required
