Summary
Surveillance Officer
The main function of a Surveillance Officer is to protect the casino, its guests, and fellow employees by observing the gaming floor and all other areas of the casino via digital surveillance.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of table games procedures, house rules, and ICMPs
- Monitor table games, slot floor, and all critical areas of the casino
- Monitor premises of all areas to detect crimes or disturbances, using closed circuit television monitors, and notify authorities if needed for corrective actions
- Basic knowledge of Colorado gaming laws
- Take and respond to radio calls
- Answer phone calls and record all information into a designated log
- Able to function in a multi-task situation
- Able to monitor multiple cameras
- Observe and report all infractions
- Basic understanding of video recording and camera equipment
- Communicate and implement department procedure in accordance with internal controls
- Complete surveillance reports and investigations
- Strong written and oral communication
- Strong sense of confidentiality
Target Salary Range: ($20.00)
