Security Officer

Seeking security officers to provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control at the Aerospace Chantilly, VA location. Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance and eligible for SCI.

Hourly Rate or Salary Range: $32.73

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant.
• Patrol Buyer's facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies.
• Conduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.
• Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and contain.
• Enforce Buyer's access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.

Training will require shift rotations for the first 2 weeks and a 90-day probationary period. Should have knowledge of NISPOM.
