The work is completed under close supervision while you develop the knowledge and skills needed to serve the community.As a County Caseworker 1, you will perform the following duties:Client Interviews: Conduct interviews to gather social histories and assess service needsService Eligibility: Determine and verify eligibility for services and provide program informationSupport Planning: Assist clients and families with developing plans to improve their functioningCase Management: Maintain a caseload, document activities, and gather information from clients and collateral contactsService Coordination: Help coordinate supportive and protective services for children and families, including at-risk childrenProfessional Reports: Prepare reports, correspondence, and participate in required training and developmentWork Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 1-hour lunch. Employee may have irregular hours, including evenings or weekends.
