Ramp AgentJob location - Salt Lake City, UTReports to - Base ManagerAlpine Air is currently seeking a Ramp Agent to be located at their Salt Lake City, UT company site. The Ramp Agent will be responsible for all ground servicing of the aircraft, including loading and unloading of baggage and cargo and fueling the aircraft. Work is performed outside, in all weather conditions.Duties and ResponsibilitiesObserve safety and FAA regulationsTransferring cargo from vehicles to cargo planesParking, towing, moving, fueling, and marshalling arriving and departing aircraftsDe-icing the aircraft and GPU starting the aircraftProviding shuttle service for crew and assist with baggagePractice safe lifting methodsQualificationsPreferred candidates will possess private pilot's licenseAble to frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds to shoulder heightExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsBe available for flexible schedule depending on aircraft arrivals and departures and cargo loadMust possess a valid driver's licenseRequired to pass pre-employment drug test and background checkHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, machinery, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. Work for this position is performed outside, regardless of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position is a Part-Time position. Paid Time Off, eight (8) paid holidays per year, and 401k with generous employer match are available immediately upon employment.Physical requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
