Summary
Dispatch Specialist
We are seeking a Dispatch Specialist for a 24-month remote contract (with possible extension and/or conversion to perm) working central time zone. The Dispatch Specialist is responsible for dispatching, working with technicians and their schedules, and maintaining calendars.
1 year of Dispatching, Scheduling, Call Center, or Coordinator experience is required US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Compensation: $12/hour (non negotiable) W2 Must pass background check to be eligible for hire Job Description:
- Utilize systems to monitor workflow and load the work to qualified technicians.
- Evaluate and reassign work to available technicians as needed.
- Work to monitor and regulate work volumes.
- Communicate with technicians and/or other departmental employees to resolve force availability imbalances.
- Read and analyze exception service orders and repair tickets to dispatch to the appropriate technician based upon the company criteria.
- Ensure that service orders and repair tickets are processed accurately.
- Acquires skills through a combination of formal training and considerable on-the-job experience.
- May serve as lead and/or primary technical resource within department or work area.
Requirements:
- Good telephone skills Clear, understandable speaking voice
- Strong organizational skills
- There is a possibly of a rotating Saturday shift, not set in stone.
- High School, GED or equivalent education and relevant experience
