Security Officer – Cultural Center Control Room
Location : Houston, TX - 77017
Position : Security Officer – Control RoomEmployment Type : Full-Time
We are seeking a professional, experienced Security Officer to work in the control room of an upscale cultural center. The ideal candidate will be dependable, alert, professional, and comfortable monitoring security systems in a busy public facility.
Responsibilities:
Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and building activity.
Maintain constant awareness of security and safety conditions.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
Monitor and control building access.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and management.
Document incidents and complete accurate daily activity reports.
Coordinate with officers assigned to the property when needed.
Follow all site security procedures and emergency protocols.
Maintain confidentiality and a professional appearance at all times.
Multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Previous security experience required.
Control room/CCTV monitoring experience preferred.
Experience in a cultural center, museum, upscale facility, high-rise, hotel, or similar environment is a plus.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Valid Texas security license required.
SCHEDULE:
SATURDAY - 7AM-3PM
SUNDAY 3PM -11PM
MONDAY 3PM – 11PM
TUESDAY- 3PM-11PM
WEDNESDAY - 3PM-11PM
THURSDAY – OFF
FRIDAY – OFF
