About the Position: This job opportunity is in the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol Division, TROOP H, in LAUDERDALE COUNTY, MS. This first-level technical position is responsible for communicating with and dispatching public safety personnel. Incumbents respond to emergency and distress calls; dispatch public safety personnel/officers; respond to inquiries by the public and other public safety agencies; interact with city, county, state, and federal public safety personnel; and maintain records of all dispatches.

In accordance with federal law, all employees serving in the armed forces or the military reserves are entitled to 15 days per year for military training.
