Typical schedule is 4 hours per day About the Position All City Management Services is currently hiring multiple School Crossing Guards throughout New London to help support student safety. Crossing Guards play an important role in helping children safely travel to and from school while serving as a positive presence in the community. Responsibilities
- Safely assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings
- Monitor traffic flow and maintain safe crossing conditions
- Remain attentive and alert throughout assigned shifts
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers
- Follow all company safety procedures and training guidelines
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Candidates living near the assigned school area may be best positioned for timely arrival to scheduled shifts.
