Ultimately, the analyst delivers fused intelligence products and strategic recommendations that directly influence operational policy, resource allocation, and the successful execution of global military operations.

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced intelligence professional, preferably holding an advanced degree, with a demonstrated record of success operating at a full-performance level. As an exceptional communicator, they can deliver clear and concise written products and verbal briefings on highly complex matters to senior decision-makers and are adept at collaborating with mid-level counterparts across the intelligence community and with coalition partners to achieve strategic objectives. Finally, the candidate must be able to thrive under pressure, making sound, timely assessments and recommendations while maintaining control of highly sensitive, classified material.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  1. Knowledge of the full range of intelligence research, processing, and exploitation methods, techniques, and practices using multi-source intelligence information to capture and report intelligence information in a usable form that directly or indirectly affects national security; interprets policy and commits resources impacting intelligence capabilities.

  4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing processing and exploitation requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients.
  5. Skill in communicating effectively with others both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes.
  6. Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively.
