The Juvenile Intake Officer is also responsible for the supervision of juvenile cases prior to adjudication of a FINS or Delinquency Case, including monitoring court order compliance of juveniles and their families, and referring juveniles and families to services needed for rehabilitation. The Juvenile Intake Officer will be required to create and maintain case documents, enter case file information, administer assessments, and testify in court, and will work as part of a team to address an array of juvenile and family situations. This position requires strong organization skills, accurate computer data entry skills, decision-making and problem solving skills, and the ability to interact effectively with juveniles, families, community groups, and other agencies.
