The Placer County District Attorney's Office is accepting applications for Assistant Chief District Attorney Investigator to fill one (1) vacancy in the Roseville office.

DEFINITION

To assist the Chief District Attorney Investigator in managing and directing the activities of the Investigations Division within the District Attorney’s Office; to coordinate activities within assigned programs, manage departmental employment background investigations, facilitate division training, and assist the Chief District Attorney Investigator with sensitive investigations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Training:

Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:

Experience:

Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in criminal investigation operations, two of which must be in a District Attorney’s Office, and two years of supervisory responsibility.

Training:

Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in criminal justice, business or public administration, or a related field.

Required License or Certificate:



Special Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age by date of appointment.
