Project & Facilities Management Department is recruiting for a
CIP Fiscal/Budget Analyst* who perform a variety of analytical duties in support of County capital improvement projects. This position will provide fiscal and budget support to project managers, including monitoring and managing contracts and subcontracts, consultant services, processing contract payments, and preparing invoices; providing project managers with ad-hoc reports and analysis; acting as an audit liaison; monitoring CIP project budgets and forecasting expenditures and revenues; perform project costing and service fee calculations and audit labor billing.

General (Teamsters) Compensation Plan . CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Pre-Employment Process: Incumbents must pass a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting, work history verification, as well as a job-related physical exam and drug screening.
Promotion: Trainees must demonstrate successful work performance to qualify for promotion to
Staff Analyst I ($30.57 - $43.06 hourly salary) within twelve (12) months or be terminated.
Travel: Travel throughout the County may be required and employees will be required to make provisions for such transportation.

Minimum Requirements Candidates must meet the ONE (1) of required options: OPTION 1: Education: A completed Bachelor's degree in public/business administration, behavioral/social science, accounting/finance or other relevant field of study.
Experience: One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience providing fiscal/budgetary support to CIP projects, facilities and capital improvement planning, and leasing acquisitions.
OPTION 2: E ducation: A completed Associate degree in public/business administration, behavioral/social science, accounting/finance or other relevant field of study.
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time equivalent experience supporting professional-level staff in any of the following areas: budget/fiscal analysis, accounting, requests for proposal (RFP), contracts or grants management analysis, or facilities and capital improvement planning.
Note: Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. Degrees or coursework completed outside the U.S. must be accompanied with an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service showing equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.

Desired QualificationsThe
ideal candidate will possess strong
research and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; and possess experience performing complex administrative analysis duties in a public sector environment.
