Securitas is hiring for a Full Time Overnight Lead Security Officer to help keep our resort client's site safe in Ludlow, VT. This is a new client with an official start date of October 1st, 2026.

Pay: $22.00/hr (Lead Officer)

Schedule: Monday - Friday Overnights (40 hours/week)

Basic Requirements:

Able to walk up to 5 miles per shift - very large property inside and out
Proficient with computers and digital reporting
Maintains a professional appearance
Dependable, punctual, and observant
Comfortable initiating conversation and providing verbal engagement (e.g., greeting all who pass)
Vermont Guard Card or the ability to obtain this prior to starting work
Valid driver's license AND clean driving record
High school diploma or GED
At least 18 years old
This is a NON-SMOKING property. No smoking of any kind is permitted from any officers on or off duty.

Primary Security Officer Duties:

Access control
Interior and perimeter patrols
CCTV monitoring
Customer service and visitor support
Logging Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports
Vehicle patrols (MUST have a clean driving record!)
Occasionally dealing with de-escalating unruly crowds in a professional manner

Emergency Response Duties:

Activate and follow site emergency protocols
Support evacuations, lockdowns, and drills
Serve as liaison to client contacts and first responders
