Job Title: Consultant, Consumer Analytics & Performance Marketing
Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and innovative Consultant, Consumer Analytics to drive the effective deployment of consumer intelligence, paid media analytics, and core channel strategies. In this role, you will design and execute advanced analytical agendas-including multi-touch attribution, audience segmentation, multicultural marketing impact, and creative performance analysis-to optimize consumer investments and maximize marketing effectiveness.
This is a high-impact consulting and leadership role for a professional who can bridge complex data science with actionable business insights. You will partner closely with product teams, brand strategists, and external agency partners to operationalize analytics products, leverage cutting-edge tools like Agentic AI, and translate campaign performance into agile, data-backed decision-making. Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Media Optimization
• Attribution & Experimentation: Design and implement designed experiments, multi-touch attribution (MTA), and econometric models to measure and optimize investments across consumer media channels.
• Analytic Learning Agendas: Lead the design and execution of brand analytic priorities, encompassing audience design, creative analysis, Designated Market Area (DMA) strategy, and behavioral consumer journeys.
• AI & Advanced Modeling: Integrate and analyze complex data sets to answer critical business questions, pioneering the use of Agentic AI to enhance analytical workflows, automated insights, and deliverables.
• Actionable Insights: Ensure analytical outputs are translated seamlessly into clear, actionable recommendations for media channel optimization and stakeholder decision-making.
Capability Management & Strategic Execution
• Product Operationalization: Partner with Customer Insights & Analytics product teams to develop and operationalize intelligence as scalable data products.
• Resource & Sourcing Management: Manage analytic priorities and determine appropriate sourcing strategies (balancing internal execution versus external supplier partnerships).
• Capability Investments: Identify and prioritize capability investments and data infrastructure needs to achieve long-term consumer engagement goals.
• Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to privacy regulations, data security standards, and contractual obligations across all consumer data applications.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline, Marketing, Business, or equivalent practical work experience.
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in Consumer Media, Media Analytics, or Performance Marketing.
• Technical & Analytical Mastery:
oStrong hands-on experience with 1st and 3rd party data sources (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Reddit, DSPs, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, log files).
oComprehensive knowledge across media channels and data formats (Linear TV, Over-the-Top/OTT, Programmatic Digital, Social Media).
oExperience implementing Statistical Modeling Techniques and querying/data mining tools (e.g., SAS, R, SQL, SSIS).
oEmerging expertise with Agentic AI applications (prompt engineering, creating agents, and developing AI artifacts).
oProficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
• Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical skills coupled with strong business acumen; ability to thrive and think strategically in ambiguous environments; outstanding communication, interpersonal influence, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
Preferred Attributes
• Direct background in consumer media/optimization consulting within complex corporate or agency environments.
• Demonstrated ability to challenge and advise stakeholders across all organizational levels, from associates to executive leadership.
• High level of motivation, creative problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to travel 10-20% based on business needs.
