Land Leasing And Real Estate Position
Put your land leasing, real estate, or site acquisition experience into working in a different and exciting industry! Help our company grow one land lease at a time in Texas and Oklahoma. This position handles all functions and activities necessary to maintain and grow the company's real estate portfolio of leased and owned properties. Responsibilities include finding sites for new leases/billboard sign locations and maintaining existing leases while working with state and local agencies for zoning purposes. Travel across Texas and Oklahoma is required. Salary based on experience + competitive bonus package, Health Insurance, 401(k), PTO.
Essential Job Functions and Tasks
- Identify new lease sites and negotiate leases
- Negotiate renewal leases for existing sites
- Read and interpret ordinances and state regulations
- Apply for permits at the local and state level
- Attend zoning board or city council meetings as needed
- Assist with acquisitions as needed
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma (or equivalent) is required, along with 1-3 years of commercial real estate, site acquisition or property/lease management experience. A bachelor's degree in real estate, Business Administration, or Marketing is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of commercial real estate (leasing, brokerage, site selection)
Land acquisition or site development
Property or lease management
Familiarity with
Zoning laws & permitting
Lease negotiation
Government processes
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems
Familiarity with internet browsers
Experience using Microsoft Outlook
Working knowledge of Google Earth
Core Competencies:
Strong attention to detail
Great organizational skills
Good communications skills
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel, including overnight trips as needed
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Skilled at managing a high volume of emails efficiently
Able to work both independently and collaboratively
