Responsibilities
As an Electronic Field Engineer II, you will:
- Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, installation, calibration, repair, and modification of equipment and systems.
- Solve technical problems in accordance with prescribed specifications.
- Conduct laboratory and shipboard work.
- Conduct submarine ship checks to determine the necessary efforts to seamlessly install systems onboard a platform.
- Draft Memorandums of Agreement, Work Authorization Forms, System Tag outs and Controlled work packages.
- Provide technical input and review for developing new Temporary Alterations (TempAlts), Operational Alterations (OpAlts) and Ship Alterations (ShipAlts).
- Author detailed reports.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 6+ years of experience working with sonar systems as a sonar technician in the Navy
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $65,000.00/Yr. - USD $75,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
