The JobArrowhead Reginal Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Hospital Information Technology Manager* who thrive in a collaborative environment where teamwork, customer service, innovation, and continuous improvement are valued. The Hospital Information Technology Manager* manages and leads an IT team in providing technology services and business solutions. The position combines managerial leadership with knowledge of IT operations, service delivery, project management, technology governance, financial and resource management, vendor management, and continuous improvement. Assignments may include enterprise and clinical applications, telecommunications, service desk and end-user services, technology procurement and asset management, information security, or other IT functions.
The Hospital Information Technology Manager* works closely with hospital leadership, clinical and operational departments, County Information Services, vendors, and other partners. The position oversees IT professionals, establishes staffing and resource requirements, manages projects and operational priorities, participates in budget planning and management, monitors staff and service performance, and promotes continuous improvement.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages and leads assigned Information Technology staff and operations supporting hospital services and organizational needs.
- Oversees the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise, clinical, and other IT services and solutions.
- Develops and implements technology strategies, operational priorities, and service delivery improvements.
- Plans, manages, and monitors IT projects, resources, timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
- Establishes staffing and resource requirements and monitors staff performance and productivity.
- Develops and manages budgets, expenditures, and technology resources within assigned areas.
- Builds effective partnerships with hospital leadership, clinical and operational departments, County Information Services, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Manages vendor relationships, contracts, and technology services to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Supports technology governance, security, procurement, asset management, and compliance initiatives.
- Evaluates business and operational needs and recommends technology solutions that align with hospital and County strategies.
- Monitors service performance and customer needs and implements improvements to enhance reliability, responsiveness, and customer service.

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC)is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Availability: Incumbents may be required to work overtime, irregular hours (including evenings and weekends) and perform recurring on-call or standby duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENT: Four (4) years of full-time equivalent professional experience conducting business systems analysis, technology-based feasibility studies, and managing Information Technology-related projects in a healthcare or hospital environment.Qualifying experience may include progressively responsible work involving the analysis, evaluation, planning, implementation, or management of technology systems, solutions, or projects.
Highly Desired: Healthcare Information Technology experience is highly desirable.
SUPERVISORY/LEAD
REQUIREMENT: Three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience as an IT project lead or providing full-scope supervision to Information Technology professionals engaged in technology operations or business applications/systems. Experience may be concurrent.
EDUCATION
REQUIREMENT:
Sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter units of completed college coursework from an accredited college or university in business/public administration, Information Technology, information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, healthcare information technology, or a closely related field.
A list of coursework or copies of transcripts must be submitted with the application, unless applicant possesses a Bachelor's degree in a qualifying area. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION:
Additional qualifying experience may substitute for up to 30 semester (45 quarter) units of education on the basis of one (1) year of qualifying experience for 30 semester (45 quarter) units of education.
