Division Overview:

The Central Services Division (CSD) team works in partnership with agency divisions providing coaching on human resource policies and procedures, financial management and adherence to fiscal responsibility. We value and respect our fellow team members across the Montana Department of Justice.

Job Overview :

The Budget Analyst Supervisor monitors the budget and related fiscal operations to ensure adequate support for current and planned program operations. Responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to: maintaining budget systems, policies, and methods for programs to follow; review the development, monitoring, and management of contracts for goods and services to ensure project outcomes are met within budget and regulatory constraints; filing grant reports ; and prepare and submit budget reports and documents . This position supervises the Administrative Specialists who are responsible for budgeting and fiscal management for their assigned DOJ division.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or related field.
• Four years of directly related budgeting experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Other combinations of education or experience may be substituted.
