About the Job :

Looking for a fun outdoor job where you can interact with people and enjoy beautiful Lake Eola Park? Join us as a Swan Boat Attendant! You’ll be responsible for helping visitors rent swan boats, keeping everything clean and safe, and making sure everyone has a great time on the water. This role is perfect if you enjoy being outdoors and engaging with people.

What You’ll Do :

• Greet guests and help them rent swan boats

• Explain how the boats work, the rental fees, and provide general info about the park

• Keep the boats clean, in good condition, and ensure they’re safe to use

• Maintain a tidy and welcoming work area, including the boat ramp and waiting area

• Stay alert and monitor safety and security issues for all guests

• Work outdoors on the boat dock-so be ready to enjoy the fresh air

What We’re Looking For :

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Customer service experience

• A valid Florida Driver’s License

• A friendly, outgoing attitude and the ability to communicate with people

• A passion for working outdoors

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate and one (1) year of work experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must be able to lift 50 pounds; walk for long periods; bend, and stoop; and tolerate working outdoors. Valid driver’s license is required.

THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

• Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;

• Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
