Job Overview

Under lead direction of the Medical Director and the Head Athletic Trainer, the part-time Assistant Athletic Trainer will be responsible for providing athletic training services to members of intercollegiate athletics and cheer team during camps and clinics. The incumbent will also perform a full range of athletic training functions as determined by the needs of the Sports Medicine Room as a floater working with intercollegiate sports teams and/or individual student-athletes.

Position Summary

Athletic Trainer (Athletic Trainer II)

This is a part time, temporary (hourly/intermittent), non-exempt position ending on or before two years from date of hire. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.

Looking to hire 10 trainers.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Amount: $40 per hour

CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,366 - $8,641 per month (full-time equivalent)
