Description
Job SummaryBecome a volunteer for the Mohave County Animal Shelter. We are the only open-intake shelter in the County. We provide rescue and humane care to protect the health, safety, and welfare of animals in Mohave County. We take in approximately 4,500 animals a year and have a large selection of adoptable adult cats and dogs, kittens, and puppies.
As a volunteer, you can assist us by:
- Going to adoption events
- Walking dogs at the Shelter
- Socializing dogs at the shelter
- Helping at special events
- Taking photos / videos of adoption animals
- Transporting animals
Must be 18 years or older and have the ability to pass a background check.
