GEOG 320: - Patterns of San Diego County


The Department of Liberal Studies at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2024 to teach GEOG 320: Patterns of San Diego County. Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience. GEOG 320 is an upper-division social science (DD) course in regional planning. The course uses San Diego County as a case study, and course content is examined and supplemented with GIS-based analyses. The course description is below.

Course Description

Conducts an interdisciplinary exploration of the geographic, historic, political, and socioeconomic factors that make up a county, with San Diego County being the principal object of study. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software and internet mapping applications will be used to amplify this exploration.
