Description
The City of El Paso is seeking an Aviation Director to manage and direct the operations of El Paso International Airport including business and financial operations, airfield and building maintenance, capital improvement programs and long-range planning. This position reviews and evaluates service delivery methods and systems, responds to and resolves sensitive and complex inquiries including requests of the City Manager, Mayor, and Council, and provides administrative direction and supervision to staff. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances governing commercial aviation operations.
The City of El Paso offers a market competitive total reward package that includes a base salary ranging from $108,740 to $201,600, and a comprehensive benefits package to include participation in the City of El Paso Employees Retirement Trust; voluntary enrollment in a 457b plan; health insurance; life insurance; tuition reimbursement; and vacation, personal, and sick leave.
