This position will be located at with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality, Water Protection Program, Water Pollution Control Branch and will be located at the Lewis and Clark State Office Building, 1101 Riverside Drive, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101.

Are you wanting to find the best ways to implement rules for water protection? Are you a detail-oriented individual who can provide highly technical analyses, service, and guidance to a wide range of stakeholders? If so, this Environmental Program Assistant/Analyst position is for you. As an industrial permit writer, you will work with permittees, neighbors, consultants, and other interested parties to ensure facility permit applications are properly and thoroughly reviewed. If the application meets all requirements, the permit writer is then tasked with issuing a permit for the facility. This position will also work with agricultural and other commercial facilities to ensure compliance with the Missouri Clean Water Law and regulations.
