Position Description
Manages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.

Major/Essential Functions

• In conjunction with the Facility Health Administrator (FHA), participates in the development and implementation of the mission, vision, and values of Managed Care including high quality and patient focused health care.
• Experience exercising a high degree of initiative and leadership.
• Responsible for ensuring program and corporate compliance with primary health care policies and procedures, as well as those external regulatory bodies such as ACA HIPPA, CLIA and other
  professional review and standards.
• In conjunction with the Unit FHA, presents, facilitates, and leads assigned process improvement events using methods of culture appropriate team building, team energizing, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, and project management.
• Plans, coordinates and directs broad and complex management and financial functions for the unit.
• Analyzes and reviews relevant data and stats for performance reports and prepares other reports, as needed.
• Perform other job related duties, as may be assigned.
• This valuable team member shall perform work in a manner that reflects the Values of TTUHSC.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, directing management functions for the unit.
• Supports the goal of the unit by attending meetings and sharing the information with the staff in regular staff meeting.
• Responds to request in a timely manner as required.
• Monitors PTM workflow and reports.
• Acts as clinic compliance coordinator by working towards a 90% clinic success rate.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus three years supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
