The City of Waco Seeks:
An experienced Source Watershed Protection Manager. The ideal candidate will have a background as a water professional, a biologist, in environmental sciences, a hydrologist, a project manager, a regulatory professional, or an agronomist. The candidate is preferred to have experience in water quality, source water protection, or watershed protection.

The successful applicant will be adept at crafting and implementing a comprehensive Source Water Protection Plan for the Bosque Watershed and strategies that promote the protection of the water system. This role demands a leader who is committed to navigating the complexities of a dynamic environment of a growing mid-sized city with rural surrounding counties. The individual will have the knowledge and background in water to provide solutions and the personality to work with the various stakeholders to ensure future water quality.
