Pay Range: $23.72/hr. - $29.65/hr.

Workdays & Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm; The department operates 3 shifts, 24 hours a day. Applicants for this position must be willing to work a flexible schedule that coincides with the events held at the facilities. Candidates must also be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and have scheduled days off on days other than Saturday and Sunday.

A Field Operations Crewleader job is available with the City of Fort Worth Public Events Department at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Do you like being mobile, working with your hands, working hours other than the standard 8-5, and not having to work in a traditional setting? The Crewleader plays a very important role in making sure all events are set up correctly and run smoothly.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, repetitive motions, climbing, balancing, pushing, pulling and lifting; depending on assignment. Incumbents may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, intense noises, gases, vibrations, chemicals, oils and workspace restrictions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Heavy Work - Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
