Job Summary
Performs skilled mechanical work involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic and mechanical parking meters. Duties include collection of revenue from meters. Work is performed under direct supervision and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion for accuracy and results obtained.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and one (1) year mechanical or electronic experience required, preferably in meter maintenance; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Polygraph examination required prior to employment.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
