The Social Worker/Clinical Caseworker will be part of an interdisciplinary team working with individuals who have been court ordered to the Department of Mental Health for inpatient psychiatric treatment, with the goal of restoring the individual’s competency to proceed in their legal case. The Social Worker/Clinical Caseworker’s primary focus will be providing substance use treatment by completing assessments, engaging in treatment planning, facilitating individual and group treatment services, and assisting with discharge planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
An MSW is preferred but any bachelor’s degree with substance use specific counseling experience will be considered.
Credentialed as a Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor, Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor, or other related credentialing through the Missouri Credentialing Board.
