Description
RoleITS (Prescott) Information Technology Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team! This is an onsite position with no remote work option. Our ideal candidate for this senior/lead technical position will have direct and extensive experience in the following areas: Business Process Analysis (BPA), Business Process Reengineering (BPR), ServiceNow Administration, M365, PowerShell, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Microsoft DevOps, Visual Studio, C#, VB, ASP.Net, MVC, SSIS, SSRS, Structured Query Language (SQL), SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Relational Database Design and Administration and IIS support.
Salary hiring range is $76,943.16 to $98,102.53 depending on qualifications. Class specification for Systems Engineer IV .
Major Duties, ResponsibilitiesDaily activities will include, but are not limited to:
Analyzing the needs of Yavapai County departments, and gathering technical requirements to assist departments with design, development, procurement, testing, and/or integrating software systems to meet business needs.
Configure and oversee both on-premises solutions and SaaS applications.
Recommend software upgrades to existing systems and present newly available options that may better meet the needs of the departments.
Responsible for monitoring application lifecycle, and application performance and troubleshooting any issues that surface.
Maintain and support custom software applications in accordance with Yavapai County Information Technology lifecycle management policies and procedures.
Provide subject matter expertise for new technology projects.
Convey complex technical information to management and departmental customers.
Deliver service excellence through effective communication and coordination with all relevant stakeholders.
Participate in effective service support metrics for all customers and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all services and internal staff.
Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or closely related field.
Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in information technology or related field. An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-per-year basis.
Additional Requirements:Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
