- Design and publish engaging content that is disseminated across various channels to multiple target audiences.
- Collaborate with department programs to write, edit and design publications, outreach materials and public awareness campaigns.
- Create and post graphics for social media, presentations, website, etc.
- Contribute to the department’s digital strategy, including social media and website content.
- Conduct interviews for videos and assist in drafting talking points, speeches, video scripts and presentations.
- Prepare news releases to inform the public and media about department programs, initiatives and services.
- Assist in coordinating special events and develop materials, displays, photos and videos to promote the department’s programs, initiatives and services.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Journalism, Communications, English, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing or a closely related field; and, three or more years of professional experience in public relations, advertising, marketing, film/video production or journalism.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills and knowledge of AP Style.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in web design preferred.
- Recent experience in social media management, including analytics and strategy, preferred.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize several projects at a time

$44,350.00-$54,785.00 per Year
