Semi-Monthly Salary: $1,631.47 * Annual Salary: $39,155.38

Scheduled Hours: Day Shift Work Area: Human Resources

Responsibilities:

• Determines eligibility of employees who inquire about FMLA and provide them with FMLA Certification paperwork to employees to assist with accessing FMLA benefits.

• Process authorized FMLA Certifications, ensuring completion and accuracy of submitted paperwork

• Review / audit and track monthly updates from Timekeeping regarding FMLA hours usage.

• Disseminates FMLA authorizations vis email and USPS mail, enters FMLA leave parameters into CareWare, and notifies managers and timekeeping of authorized allowances.

• Enters Workers’ Compensation (WC) incidents and claims into RESTORE.

• Disseminates WC paperwork to the affected parties, including injured employee, supervisory staff, timekeeping and CARO.

• Communicate and track WC medical appointments to responsible parties.

• Coordinate Temporary Modified Duty (TMD) assignments, including drafting TMD letters for both workers’ comp injuries and personal injuries and communicating employee restrictions to mangers to identify possible assignments, prioritizing WC employees for these assignments.

• Draft and disseminate Reasonable Accommodation paperwork to employees, including the Reasonable Accommodation Request form and the Medical Inquiry form, informing employees of their ADA rights.

• Participates in the ADA interactive process and interview, drafts the letters informing employees of their ability or inability to accommodate.

• Drafts the ADA options letter and sends to the Attorney General for review, mailing out final letter.

• Processes Paternal leave requests, including determining eligibility of employee, processing paperwork and communicating with timekeeping for leave approval.

• Processed Long Term Disability applications for employees, including completing and communicating employer section of paperwork and communicating final determination to timekeeping and supervisory staff.

• Prepares sick leave / workers’ comp data for Governing Body reports, including preparation of Excel graphs.

• This position will require travel between all campuses.

Eligibility:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed)

• Knowledge of Federal and State laws, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures as applied to Human Resources areas and programs. Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality.

Salary:

39,155.38 per Year
