What you’ll do:NMPRC is looking for a Team Leader for a treatment program for individuals with serious mental illness, many of which are also experiencing issues related to aging (e.g., dementia, mood symptoms, neurocognitive symptoms). The individual will be responsible for continuing to develop treatment programming that is evidence-based. The individual will be responsible for coordinating activities of the treatment team including, but not limited to the following: ensuring the developed schedule is implemented and reassigning staff to ensure the needs of the schedule are met, implementing corrective action taken when deficiencies in the program are identified, collecting and analyzing data during the Program’s Annual Evaluation, assisting the Program Director in providing program-specific training, facilitating team meetings and review meetings. The individual will be responsible for maintaining communication between the team, Program Director, and the Administrative Team. This individual will also be expected to maintain a 50% clinical caseload.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:A qualified candidate will have both managerial and leadership skills. They will be expected to work well within an interdisciplinary treatment team and be comfortable co-supervising individuals from various departments while working closely with the department/discipline directors. A qualified candidate will have excellent clinical, organizational, and writing skills. A qualified candidate will also be willing to keep up to date on evidenced based practices and trauma-informed care as it relates to both clients and staff.
Experience and Educations Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 24 earned semester hours or 36 earned quarter hours in one or a combination of the following: Education, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, Recreation (including specialty areas such as Art, Dance, Music, or Physical Education), Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, or other specialties in the field of human services; and,
- Three or more years of relevant clinical and supervisory experience.
