Job Location: This position will be located at 1706 E. Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO 65102

Division of Administrative Services Accounting Unit is a multi-faceted unit and provides growth and opportunities for development. Normal work hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday through Friday, however flextime may be available.

• Medicaid claims and invoice processing and approval.
• Non-Medicaid invoice processing and approval.
• Complete bi-monthly reconciliation of transactions processed.
• Weekly review of DMH Providers’ set up in electronic systems and reconcile any issues.
• Routinely work with Division/Facility staff to resolve matters.
• Assist with DMH internal processing system issues.
• Assist with monitoring, collection and resolution of Billing Service Reviews, Audits and Overpayments.
• Provide ad hoc queries and reports on demand.
• Serve as backup for DMH consumer banking.
• Generate and distribute quarterly Medicaid revenue projections.

• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to secure, interpret and analyze data and exercise sound judgement in arriving at conclusions.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferrred) and 2-4 years of relevant experience. Substitutions may be allowed.
• Working knowledge of Financial Reporting
• Working knowledge of SAMII Financial and Data Warehouse
